Device Use & Ownership Policy

Loaned Technology with Long-Term Support

All iPads are the property of Islands Against Cancer, Inc. and are provided on loan throughout active treatment. These devices are customized and managed by our team to support your care experience.

Once a patient completes treatment and is formally released from the care of our partnering physician, the iPad will be:

  • 🔄 Remotely wiped to remove all content and logins

  • 🔒 Locked and deactivated

  • 📦 Collected for reassignment to a new patient

All notes, summaries, recordings, and documents created during use will remain safely stored in your personal Google account or the respective patient apps—so you continue to have access, even after returning the iPad.

We work closely with local physicians and referral offices to ensure that every iPad is preloaded with tools relevant to your individual care. Our team remains available to help troubleshoot, update, or customize your apps as your treatment plan evolves.
